Frequently asked questions
  • Direct Primary Care (DPC) is an increasingly popular model of care that is restoring the patient- provider relationship. DPC is a membership-based model and for one low monthly fee, we are able to provide you with longer, more relaxed visits, service discounts, and a variety of ways to connect with your primary care provider (PCP). There are NO co-pays and all additional lab and medication costs are transparent. We pass any/all of our savings on to you.

By eliminating insurance, DPC minimizes the time-consuming administrative burdens placed on traditional model practices. In a traditional practice, PCPs can have between 2000-3000 patients. In the DPC model, the panel is limited to no more than 500 patients – This means your PCP can spend more time with you, focus on what is important to YOU and keep YOU healthy!

  • The models are similar, but not identical. Both offer longer appointment times and more personalized care, however, most concierge practices charge a significant annual membership fee in addition to billing your insurance at each visit (as is done in a traditional medical office). In contrast, Direct Primary Care charges one low monthly fee to cover as much of your primary care needs as possible. We negotiate low-cost labs, imaging, and medications then pass our savings along to you. Since we don’t have to comply with insurance regulations and billing, it eliminates the need for more staff and time-consuming documentation in the EMR, which allows better access and affordable care for all.

  • Yes! We believe in treating the entire body, and identifying the root cause of issues. We are supportive and open to discussing complementary and alternative forms of treatment such as dietary changes, essential oils, health supplements, chiropractic care, acupuncture, and many others. We wholeheartedly believe in the power of prayer for healing.

  • Our approach to the treatment of chronic pain is to identify and treat the root cause. We do not soley rely on the long-term use of opioids. We will work to establish goals and help restore and improve your function. Patient cooperation and participation is an essential part of the treatment plan, and a specialist referral may be necessary.

  • Yes! You can use your insurance to cover costs such as medical imaging, eligible testing, specialist referrals, labs, emergency care, out of office procedures, surgeries and prescriptions. The only thing your insurance would not cover is our monthly membership fee. Most of our patients find that they save substantial amounts of money through our deeply discounted labs and membership price. Remember, there are no copays or deductibles for our services. Our entire 1 year membership is less than 1 emergency room visit, and since urgent care is included you save both time and money!

  • Yes, we encourage all of our patients to continue their insurance coverage to be used for more expensive aspects of healthcare, such as specialty care, emergency visits, hospitalizations or surgery. We can help you find an agent that can pair the best, most affordable plan with your family’s needs while continuing to provide low cost, high value primary care in our office. DPC pairs well with high-deductible plans, catastrophic plans, and healthcare/ health ministry sharing groups.

  • We are able to place a referral for you to see a specialist whenever necessary. This includes for imaging, consultation, or other services we do not provide in the office. We work closely with the specialist to maintain continuity of care, send over necessary records and will make sure you know what the financial expectations are prior to your visit.

  • No problem, just give us a call. We can manage many illnesses via telemedicine, and if necessary, call in medications to a local pharmacy. If you require evaluation by an urgent care or ER then we can help coordinate this as well.

  • Hopefully this will be a rare (if ever) occurrence. If, however, you need to be hospitalized we will refer you to the hospital of your choice, contact the receiving provider with all of your relevant information and send any records that will aid in your care.

  • You can still be seen as a patient in our practice. However, in order to focus our time and efforts on serving our patients, Logos Health has chosen to opt-out of all insurances. This includes Medicare and Medicaid. This frees up our time to be able to spend more time with you, and not having to complete frivolous tasks to fulfill insurance requirements and regulations. If you do have Medicare you will need to sign a one-time waiver declaring that neither you nor your doctor will directly bill Medicare for our services. Medicare and Medicaid will still cover somem laboratory testing, imaging, medications, or hospitalizations prescribed by our office.

  • Contact us today, we'd love to answer any questions you have. You may sign up for a welcome session to learn more about the practice.

  • It is our goal to serve you, and if any reason we fail to do so please let us know! If at anytime after your initial 6 month commitment you decide to end our relationship, please provide us a 30 day written notice.

  • This is a great idea! If you know someone who is unable to afford medical care you can donate them a year of medical care. This makes a great Christmas gift! Your gift can remain anonymous if you prefer. Please contact us so we can help you set this up!

  • No problem! While we do recommend you carry health insurance, it certainly doesn’t mean you can’t have great health care. Healthcare should be affordable for all and that's why, you can get affordable high-quality care through us! You will never, ever be blindsided by a bill. If there are things that need doing outside of our clinic such as an image, or maybe a lab, then we contract with local providers to get you the best possible discounts.

  • Increase your bottom line and retention rate by offering your employees/staff a direct primary care membership to keep them happy, healthy, and productive. Your employees get full direct access to our services with no copays or deductibles!
